I was going to avoid this blog but if I'm gonna get on the libs when they do something outa line then I kinda hafta hit my side when it does something out of character. The rules are simple and each is as important as the other. Some groups like to add more rules or change some defining terms, but the basics are the same;
1. Every firearm is treated and handled as if it is loaded.
2. Keep the weapon pointed in a safe direction. Never point the weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot.
3. Never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire the weapon.
4. Be CERTAIN of your target and beyond and your surrounding area.
If you watch those bike maker guys from NY on Discovery you might have seen an episode when the old man took the kids out bird hunting. Watch it and you'll see Senior swing his weapon in the direction of his target and almost take out one of his kids.
I figure it will take less than 24 hours for the machine to turn this into something like oh maybe Cheney should step down or maybe he should be charged with a crime. It aint gonna happen nor should it. People get hurt in hunting accidents all of the time.
