Does anyone remember the military and government being fleeted out with that real cute Reliant and Reliant K? You know, the K cars?
That was a time when the stupid government got smart and did something pro-active to salvage a very important part of industry that keeps our nation afloat.
The don't do shit now. They stand by and watch the baby sinking in the pool and say, oh gee I don't think it's going to live, should we intervene? Oh no, let's not do that. Let's just throw a fucking lifering out there and see what happens. The baby is already down for the second time and not getting a push up to the surface, no one there helping it learn to swim on it's own and mature again. No let's throw a ring out there, a hand out. If it grabs on fine if not, oh well we tried but tough luck.
See the only way we're going to stop this continual implosion is through manufacturing and export. Until we again become self sufficient we going to continue this downward spiral.
We make NOTHING in the US. All we do here is consume and get fat. We are NOT the richest nation in the world. We here in the USA are just a bunch fat lazy self centered pricks.
Self centered is the root of all evil and certainly one of the biggest problems in this country. It's all me me me me me me. Old Fat Bastard.

Why is it that gun and ammunition sales have gone up almost 50% in the ten days after the election?
Why is it that once was an instant background check to purchase a firearm now takes days and days?
I've been saying this for a year now and you assholes all laughed.

How about this - instead of granting all this money to all of these businesses to bail them out because of THEIR poor management tactics which end up costing the consumer, just forgive income tax for two years.

You know, nine years ago there was a lot going on in the news. Nine years ago we were just a few weeks away from Doomsday! From Armegeddon. From the big bang all over again.
Nine years ago people were scrambling to the supply stores spending TONS on solar products, freeze-dried dehydrated nicfitdogeatdogmultibysubstaproducts, gas cans and kerosene heaters (Oh, by the way when the power "grids" didn't fail why did we stop looking for alternative fuel sources back then, hmmm?).
It was late 1999 and in just a couple of short weeks life as we knew it would change for the majority of the earth's population.
But besides inflated consumer spending which lead to a false sense of security in the credit world and 9 years later we rescind - nothing happened. The world didn't end, and Al Albert Arnold AlGore Juniors internet didn't fail.
So what's all this brew ha ha???
It's this - nothing is going to happen. The power isn't going to stop, the fuel won't triple or get cut in half. There won't be any riots. No one will get shot or killed and Santa Claus isn't going to stop coming. Hell isn't going to freeze over and my dad isn't going to come back from the dead. No, I'm afraid nothing is going to happen. Some people are gonna be really happy and some are not. So people will misunderstand to think this is a hand out and some will think it's a strike down.
Not a lot of folks are going to be looking for a leg up though. That seems to be the problem with the country nowadays. Everyone wants a freeby - no one wants to work for anything.
