So I'm sitting here listening to Richard Pryor. I've been listening to Rich for about 25 years. When "Greased Lightening" or any other of Rich's movies are on I watch them. My son watches them with me if they're on broadcast (censored) tv too. So Rich's Greatest Hits album is on and I think to myself "There is no restriction on purchasing this album based on race". "If I'm white or black the clerk at the record store will sell me this album". So why does the black man get mad at me if I use the word nigger, when I can buy an album at the store and hear Richard Pryor say nigger about every sixth word? I know every line of the cuts on Rich's Greatest Hits album word for word- and I can do Mudbone better'n anyone you've heard - `cept Rich of course. I'm just sayin' why keep this front up about a word that even Lenny Bruce (a Jew by the way) said means nothing if you don't let it.
