This is old news but it has merit. This past December I heard a radio personality hit rock bottom. The kind of rock bottom one would hit when they've sold out. The kind of sold out you do when you sell out to the ways of the modern media machine. I hope you out there in John Q land get me. The radio personality (I bet half of the louses on the air don't own a record, how can you call them DJ's?) said something during this past Christmas holiday that blew my mind. Over the years I have witnessed the 8-track player-recorder, the coming and going of cassettes, the first walk on the moon, the "moon walk", and a bevy of other items far and away more important than the aforementioned. These developements in the machine strike a new low.
Apparently, Santa is a pimp. If he isn't a pimp the on air person must have known what the FCC was going to do over these past 3 months. The radio personality said and I quote "Who Who Who, Merry Christmas".
I presume that if you can find your way to my scrap pile of incoherent thoughts as so recorded on some hidden harddrive in this environment we call the Internet (which don't forget was invented by the former vice president formerly known as president elect) that you also are reading and listening to the corporate media machine. This being true then you are certainly aware of the FCC's latest antics.
Practically speaking most people will try to correct an error they've made without drawing the attention of those whom will cause the most negative impact should the error be found.
Having said that, it would seem to me that the offensive...uh, offending radio personality would had to have had knowledge of the forthcoming travesty. Why else would this radiodude avoided the now or soon to be forbidden words "Ho Ho Ho"?
I will end today's broadcast without providing an answer to the above question. The broadcast is being terminated leaving behind dangling participles, unfinshed thoughts, improper sentence structure, improper verb conjugation and probably an all out assault on grammer and punctuation of which I am certain would cause my english teachers to turn over.
